About

Ellie is a designer and art director currently in the Raleigh/Durham area, though a fortune cookie once told her the world is her oyster. It actually said, “The world is a clam,” but I think she got the point. 

Ellie strives to make every project a creative, inventive and fun one, even if the brief is dull. She looks for insights under damp rocks. She holds on to very old magazines if she likes the typeface. 

Outside of design, Ellie participates in and sometimes teaches dance classes. She also sews her own clothes, occasionally in body-shaped silhouettes! You can usually find her at the sink, getting spaghetti sauce out of her (hand-made, oddly-shaped) tunic.
